One clear spring day I went out shopping yard sales. I found a yard sale out in the country near where the river that passes through our town is getting close to finally making its way to the bay.
That was the beginning of my online selling experiences. What I bought at that yard sale was a little, old tackle box for $3.00. I rummaged through it for things I might be able to use in my fishing adventures, and removed a fair amount of things like hook holders, bobbers, etc. But, there was one item that looked curious, so I held on to it until the time was right that I should investigate the possibility that it might have some value.
It was a Bomber fishing lure in the original box. The lure was wooden, in good shape, and I sold it on eBay for $45.00.What you see on this site is a collection of ocean liner, cruise ship, tramp steamer, and even airlines memorabilia from the romantic times of ocean travel; the 50's.
